He’s a high-class staying chaser on his day and is 3Ib lower than when second in a Grade 3 at Warwick on his penultimate outing. He goes well on soft ground and has a chance. GOLAN FORTUNE is a tough sort, who wears his heart on his sleeve. He was a good fourth over hurdles when last seen and posted two some good efforts over fences beforehand including when fourth in the Grade 1 Kauto Star Novices' Chase and then third in a Grade 2 at Warwick. His stamina has to be taken to trust, but he’s capable of winning this if he gets the trip, while THE TWO AMIGOS is a thorough stayer who has placed efforts in the Welsh National and Grand National Trial at Haydock to his name and should make another bold bid from the front.
