Time To Tinker certainly has to be respected in receipt of 12Ib from STELLAR MAGIC but the latter looked to easily have his measure the last day when they clashed and is selected to confirm the form with his stable enjoying a good spell of late. EARTH BUSINESS shaped nicely when third on debut at Wincanton and the form has been boosted since. The switch to hurdling is likely to suit even better, so he’s fancied to get involved with improvement to come.

Leg 2: 14.30 - Invest Southwest Handicap Hurdle

The ground and course will hold no fears for RUSSIAN SERVICE who was back to form when scoring over C&D last month and should remain competitive from only a 3Ib higher mark. TACTICAL MANOEUVRE is a three-time C&D winner and although he’s yet to hit top form this campaign, the ten-year-old is down to a mark that he’s more than capable of exploiting with conditions to suit.

Leg 3: 15.00 - Stables Business Park Mares' Novices' Hurdle (GBB Race)

FORTUNES OF MELODY was useful when trained in France having placed second in a Group 2 and is equally proven in the mud. He’s in excellent hands and should be hard to beat on debut in this company.

Leg 4: 15.30 - Southwest Racing Club Handicap Chase

ECLAIR SURF came up short off his career-high mark when last seen, but he’s open to further improvement in this sphere and can confirm the promise of his victory two races ago with another bold effort. REGAL FLOW isn’t getting any younger now aged 14 but he will love the deep ground and looks extremely well-handicapped on historical form which has arguably come in better events. It’s discouraging to note that SPIDER’S BITE has failed to complete in three of his four chase starts but he remains lightly-raced and can get competitive with a clear round.

Leg 5: 16.00 - Elise Jones Virtual 18th Birthday Celebration Handicap Hurdle

AMARILLO SKY’s team took this contest twelve months ago and although the five-year-old failed to build on his hurdling debut 81 days ago, he should be thereabouts on handicap bow. TORCELLO was a creditable second over C&D a few weeks ago and shouldn’t be far away from a workable mark and the back-class he possesses having been rated 93 on the flat.

Leg 6: 16.30 - Richard Williams Memorial Novices' Handicap Chase

GOLDENCARD has continued to knock on the door of late having rattled the crossbar on his last three starts. He is sure to go well from only a 1Ib higher mark, while BROKE AWAY ran well on her previous start at the track and if deriving from the switch to chasing, he could play a leading role.
