I have previewed tomorrow’s card at Kelso and have created a syndicate that you can join at the bottom of the post. Good luck.
Leg 1: 13.20 - Belhaven Brewery Novices' Hurdle (GBB Race)
ALRIGHT SUNSHINE has the potential to outclass this field if taking to this discipline, representing a yard who does extremely well at this track. He won three of his four bumpers and competed in some of the major handicaps on the flat including when runner-up in the Old Borough Cup. He’s an exciting addition to the race, while ROCKSTAR RONNIE was a good second on debut and should improve for his in-form handler.
Selections: ALRIGHT SUNSHINE, ROCKSTAR RONNIE
Leg 2: 13.50 - Cheltenham Gold At timeform.com Novices' Chase (GBB Race)
This looks a good opportunity for PROTEKTORAT to regain the winning thread for his in-form yard. His second last-time-out can be upgraded given the race turned into a tactical affair and, granted a soft lead, he’s the one to beat. Of the rest, PORT OF MARS opened his account over fences nicely last month and should have more to offer.
Selections: PROTEKTORAT, PORT OF MARS
Leg 3: 14.20 - BoscaSports Racing's Digital Display Handicap Hurdle
ARTIC MANN returned a convincing winner over C&D back in December and ran with credit to finish third over an inadequate trip at Musselburgh from this mark. He is sure to relish the return to further here and has all the credentials to return to winning ways with Bruce Lynn, who was onboard him for that victory two starts ago, remaining in the saddle.
COURT BALOO has shaped better than the finishing result has suggested of late and is back on his last winning mark. He’s scored at this track in the past under similar conditions and looks an outsider worth considering.
Selections: ARTIC MAN, COURT BALOO
Leg 4: 14.50 - Edinburgh Gin Chase (Limited Handicap) (GBB Race)
CLAUD AND GOLDIE has seriously been underestimated by the market here and has a good each-way chance in a race where most of his rivals have questions to answer. He’s lightly raced for his age, loves it around this track and remains on a mark that looks within his grasp. Of the rest, perhaps QUICK WAVE jumped well when scoring last time out and shouldn’t be far away.
Selections: CLAUD AND GOLDIE, QUICK WAVE
Leg 5: 15.20 - Cheltenham Countdown At timeform.com Handicap Hurdle
A good race in prospect here with EBONY JEWEL remaining an interesting proposition from a handicapping perspective. He’s not been seen to best effect the last twice, but is 4Ib lower here and the deep surface will be right up his street. CORRIEBEN RIVER returns from a mammoth absence but won well on hurdles debut when last seen and his opening handicap mark looks very fair with more to come.
Selections: EBONY JEWEL, CORRIEBEN RIVER
Leg 6: 15.50 - Racing TV Novices' Limited Handicap Chase (GBB Race)
HEARTBREAK KID lost little in defeat when chasing home a useful prospect on chase debut at Carlisle and, now pitched into handicap company, Brian Hughes’ mount has a good chance of going one place better here.
Selections: HEARTBREAK KID
