Friday Betting Tips: 04/12/2020

Evening,
An excellent winner and nice profit today as RIVER BRAY at an SP 7/1 won nicely under Tom Scudamore.
I have seven selections for tomorrow’s racing.
BOUGHTBEFORELUNCH (12.45 Sandown, 1pt win @15/2) DIABLE DE SIVOLA (12.45 Sandown, 1pt win @6/1) Gary Moore’s DIABLE DE SIVOLA has produced two good performances in better races than this at this track, most notably when fourth behind three horses now rated 137 plus over course-and-distance two starts back from a mark of 132. He’s 5Ib lower this time around and has to be respected. Paul Webber’s BOUGHTBEFORELUNCH was second in this race twelve months ago and is back on the exact same mark of 117 and is evidently better off at the weights with the winner. He’s been in good form this term, so another bold effort can be expected. DANDOLO DU GITE (13.15 Sandown, 0.5pts each-way @13/2) DANDOLO DU GITE should be sharper for his encouraging reappearance at Wetherby when last seen. The drop back to two-miles looks an interesting move and given the fact that he’s likely to be ridden prominently with jumping being one of key assets and the presence of Richard Johnson in the saddle, he has the potential to surpass his official mark. ANY NEWS (14.25 Sandown, 1pt win @5/1) A competitive Grade Two in prospect with the vote going to Neil Mulholland’s, ANY NEWS, who has achieved the highest figures of this field. He made a bright start under rules, supplementing his impressive bumper success with an exciting hurdles debut victory last month, where he beat the highly-regarded Easy As That by ten lengths. This five-year-old looks capable of finding sufficient improvement over the extended trip to remain unbeaten and I’d make him much shorter than his current odds. ILLEGAL MODEL (15.00 Sandown, 1pt win @7/2) PORTRUSH TED (15.00 Sandown, 0.5pts each-way @9/1) Top-weight and an absence to overcome wouldn’t be ideal, but PORTRUSH TED was very good in bumpers and over hurdles, particularly when looking set to place before falling when last seen. Essentially, he’s only 1Ib higher here and makes plenty of appeal for place purposes. ILLEGAL MODEL was impressive when winning on debut for connections at Lingfield, beating a 140-rated individual on heavy ground. He then made a very encouraging return to action at Uttoxeter and there should be more to come. WHITEHOTCHILLIFILLI (15.35 Sandown, 0.5pts each-way @6/1) Harry Fry’s WHITEHOTCHILLIFILLI likely needed her reappearance when fifth at Wetherby last month and this race presents a more suitable opportunity. She was sixth at the Cheltenham Festival in a Grade Two that has worked out substantially well and I’m quite hopeful she’ll be competitive under Richard Johnson.
